PMI in case of audit can ask to prove ur exp through references.

Simple use? when client has to choose you for managerial role position, if two applicants there then there is a high probability that client chooses one with PMP rather than choosing one without PMP as simple as that. Project completion is not only completing successful code writing/changes. above that there are lot of managerial procedures need to be completed on time. to know all those managerial procedures, even one works on technical side its better to know about this PMP. as simple as that.

Nenu project manager ga working for last few years. so help avutundi ani raasanu. Jobs maradaniki actually ga peddaga apply cheyyale so naaku anta idea le. But from job point of view/daily works point of view baaga help ayindi.
DaleSteyn1 Posted March 23, 2015 Report Posted March 23, 2015 For people who want to write PMP Eligibility: 4500 hrs of Project Management Experience 35 contact hours Atleast 5 yrs exp 35 contact hours : I got from self study ..you can get taking classes from univ or webinars...i opted self study as that was cheapest option selfstudy: PM Prepcast ( video tutorial for 40 hrs) costs about 230$ with exam simulator . At the end, after listening to videos take exam and pass the exam and you would get certificate for 35 contact hours Then apply to PMI for certication. I suggest to have PMI membership as you can access PMBOK pdf for free. Must read book is PMBOK..if u have time read RITA Book also Exam with PMI membership is 405$ membership is 129$ Exam without membership is 555$ I used christopher scordo , Daud nasir books for practice exams I am using PMP exam simulator for practice exams ( Mock up exam ) If u need more info let me know bhayya project management experience coding chesevallaki undadhu kadha mari are we eligible ?
