chandu96k Posted March 23, 2015 Report Posted March 23, 2015 Hello Friends., Question on H1B Amendment, i got an approval last year with Client A and now i have moved to some other Client and different location[LCA Changed].I am planing to go for H1B stamping next month, i asked my employer same Q, he said no need for Amendment, i am confused..could someone experienced or in same situation shed some light, really appreciate your help. thanks in advance.
ICANWIN Posted March 23, 2015 Report Posted March 23, 2015 You need to get the amendment done...Jamaica lo picha easy ga vachayi last yr visas ..i am one of them...ma collegue employer amendment cheyanu ante alane velladu he got stuck in jamaica for 15 days...april last yr...pls get the amendment done before stamping even if it is at ur cost ($1200) ..i think 30 days lo approval vachestundi

Under the regulations, an H1B amendment is required if there has been a material change in the employment terms of the H1B petition. accuman Posted March 23, 2015 Report Posted March 23, 2015 stamping ki veltunnava ?? Even one has a need for stamping or not, the amendment is mandatory. Most of the employers would not like to do that to keep kuli with up to date documentation. why because it is considered applying for new H1 at least in the perspective of paper work. But, it is usually recommended one. In case if one has not valid stamping for more than 1.5 years, its recommend to get the latest amendment to be done ASAP.(still this is not a better option. ) Why because in case if one has family emergencies, one can go without any waiting to complete last minute paper works. if your H1 approved keep your I797 original copy with you all the time in your file. Most of the kuli's dont know this thing. It is not mesthri's one. Disclaimer. I am not a lawyer or not claiming know all the rules. use your best due diligence.
