lazybugger Posted March 23, 2015 Report Posted March 23, 2015 This is what a guy, by his own declaration, from one of the IITs, wrote on a flame thread of Chennai vs Bangalore in a forum. for all the people who hate bangalore,plz plz plz go to chennai and stay for 1 year especially if u r a north indian..And you will know what is HELL..I am a north indian who did the biggest mistake of taking IIT chennai for studies….I knw how sucked and screwed is chennai…now i m in Bangalore…man!it feels heaven..Chennai’c climate sucks..People suck…and its sooo expensive…And auto walas are goons..Landlords are ultra reserved…Forget about the stinky and dirty booze shops..Cumon man!…bangalore is much better in those aspects….if i compare to the KING OF HELL..CHENNAI..Thanks God i m not in chennai…May got never do this to anybody of sending him to chennai…trust me guys on this…Whether what he wrote about the city is true or not is a different issue. If a guy from one of the most prestigious IITs (Chennai) can't express himself in a better way than this, what hope do the other IITs have.Pretty sure he's an uppercaste a$$hole from the northern cities, expecting everyone to conform to his belief systems and culture.This is another reason why reservations should exist, so more lower class people get into IITs, ones who can appreciate the gift they got.That said, plenty of intelligent northie guys from Chennai IIT, who absolutely love Chennai, and have no problem having an intense discussion about USDR or the prospect of a divided India. And yeah, most of them are uppercaste too.The level of Chennai hate in India, among fellow Indians is reason enough for TN to secede from India, I guess.
