Vizag airport maynot be worldclass but it is THE ONLY INTERNARIONAL AIRPORT in ap. It has 12 lakh passengers every year more than gannavaram(4 lakh)+tirupati(3 lakh)+rajahmundry(1lakh) combined. It is the 10TH BIGGEST CITY IN INDIA INTERMS OF GDP economy.

Central govt sanctioned two triple its(IIITs) for AP. One at Sricity and another at Kurnool. Iam okay with IIT at Tirupati but one of triple it(IIIT) should have been allocated in vizag.
