kedharinath Posted March 30, 2015 Report Posted March 30, 2015 Both Vijayawada and Visakhapatam rail network will be completed by 2019, says DMRC direcor Sharma whose Delhi Metro Rail Corporation and its legendy MD Sridharan has been roped in by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to take up works in the residual state. Vijayawada will have a 25-km metro rail from Jawaharlal Nehru Bus stand to Penamaluru in the first phase. The DMRC director Sharma, says the DPRC for Vijayawada and Visakhapatam metro rails will be submitted by April second week. If you mean completion on paper ,it will be done by 2019 ! Even for calling tender and finalization of project it will take atleast 6 months even if the process is started today.. If they complete by 2019 it is good..but Sridharan is recommending high speed train service (like MMTS) and not Metro !
