Andhra Private Travels Stop Buses To Hyderabad

With the new tax structure by Telangana government coming into picture from tonight [April 1st 2015], the private travel owners are all set to withdraw their bus-services to Hyderabad. The association of Private Travels in AP already had a word with Transport Minister of Telangana and with no response or assurance from him, they've decided to stop more than 80% of their bus services to Hyderabad.

We've already published the news about Telangana government's decision to collect the "Entry Tax" from vehicles of Andhra Pradesh and this is the immediate response from the vehicle owners in AP. Targeting around 30 crores revenue from this new tax, transportation department of Telangana looks completely rigid to alter their decision.

Private Travels have already stopped their online booking earlier today and are hoping that the TS government reverts its decision to charge their entry! -

The case has already gone to High court in June..and High court has stopped it till March 31
