1. Currently in H1B from last 3 years. Working for a MNC full time.

2. What is basic requirements to get $40,000 personnel loan. 

3. What would be the APR for good credit history.

4. Which banks or credit unions are better.

i think you need to be a citizen or GC holder to get that much personal loan.

If you disclose that you are not a permanent resident or US citizen, you will not get personal loan (may be exception with very few banks/credit unions)

The better the credit score the less will be interest rate

I don't think any bank will approve you a $40k loan..but can get $20k to $25k..
