Temperbabu Posted April 1, 2015 Report Posted April 1, 2015 Hi, I have bachelors degree with 3 yrs of exp in IT industry. My employer(direct client) is planning to apply GC for me. They said they cannot post education requirement as "Masters degree" since my position requires only Bachelors degree. I am thinking of asking my company attorney to post ad like "Bachelors or Higher degree required" instead of "Masters degree required". My manager is fine with this process, but he need a confirmation from Attorney to check whether it is an issue or not. If they post ad like "Bachelors or Higher degree required"; Am I eligible under EB2 category since I have Master's degree. Thanks in Advance

Thanks in AdvanceEb2 requirements: Masters from USA + 0 exp or 2 yrs MS from any other country+ 0 or 1 yr exp Bachelors + 5 yrs exp excluding current employment. Bachelors tho file Cheyyataniki u need to add exp equivalent. To 5 yrs. So plan carefully and apply because you need to p Ovr during i140 clearance. Good Luck.

I heard the same... but I just leave it to my manager and Attorney... if they said NO .. I am fine with EB3... will wait for promotion in future and port it EB2 from EB3 after promotion.. Can I anybody suggest if they post "Bachelors or Higher degree ' am I eligible under EB2?
