startup ante, I think first better for vizag to come up with a zone for electronics manufacturing.

the problem is, localites ekkuva proactive ga company lu pettali. or baita vaallani pettanivvali.

just big companies maatram osthe saripodu. vaallu anni components import cheskunte inka local economy ki bokke.

Vizag ki chemical industry lo manchi stand undhi kaabatti, next step is electronics only.

so ila konni years experience ochaaka, konni manchi designers oka chota cheraaka, taravatha startup gurinchi aalochinchachu.

poni vizag ki velli oka industrial design company pedithe best emo.

Inka hardware manufacturing em peddaga raaledhu kaabatti, Vizag can still take the lead on this.

IIM kooda osthondi. koncham better ae.

I don't think so. product quality unte ae desham daina kontaaru le.

industrial products ammatam maatram kastam India lo. migilina startups can do well if they cater to the market.

okay. so startup plans kante mundu, manchi exporting zones osthe akkad nunchi startup culture osthadi.

Indians pysche ade kada, they don't adapt so quicky and thats why 90% of Indians still buy Japanese cars esp Toyotas and Hondas here in US, so for any startup to be successful they need population like US who are eager to try out and leave a review or two, nowhere in the world you will such kind of market. Manadi chala closed community and we proceed with caution in every walk of life..okka car/fridge/washing machine konaniki padi mandi opinion tesukuntamu for that reason we have to depened a lot on word of mouth publicity. Hardware lo start ups tattukovadu kastamu, even in US 80-90% start up involving hardware manufacturing go kaput becuase they can't sustain the scale and competetion.

80-90% software startups also go kaput.

hardware, with the right ecosystem can be cheap to make. I think its easy to sell to Indians if its made in India and is a quality product.

It'll be tough to sell to Americans.

you can't compare China with India. Shenzhen, taiwan places are atleast 3 decades ahead of us, their efficency and scale is hard to break, my uncle who has a moulding furtinture business told me on time it is still cheaper for him to import finished goods from china than to manafucter here in India.

the problem is you can't make cheaper in India..we don't have that effeciency. for example in US a lot of startups make a design/prototype locally and the rest is like going to a tailor shop with a peice of cloth, in China there are so many shops like that who will just pump out goods in no time based on your specification, best part is you don't to own anything, just pay them and they will do it for you.

actually 99.9% hardware startups go kaput :)

yep it is my wishful thinking too..I want to see India prosper

anyway, anduke before focusing on startups (tall order kabatti), better to just have export zones for electronics manufacturing.

invite chinese companies to set shop here.
