No man. The word 'Telugu' came into existence because of NTR. Before that there was nothing like AP or Telugu.

 

Go to North India and say that I am from NTRs land then everybody will garland you. At least one street is named after NTR in each and every city/town of India except in Andhra. There are lot more towns without NTRs name in AP and its all because of caste politics.

 

In Bangalore when there was a quarrel with local Kannadigas, I just spelt name 'NTR' thats it they compromised and cleaned my feet with Cauvery water.

In TamilNadu, if you say you are from NTRs AP then they will put their head in some undisclosed location due to the guilty feeling that Tamil is no where close to Telugu.

 

Even in the UK, when I was not finding any job, one of my friends suggested to include Telugu and NTR in CV, thats it, I got the job in the next week.

Every State and every city in the USA has got at least one institution or street named after NTR.

There are attempts from lobbyists in USA to include NTRs name in each and every company that Telugus are working (they always wonder at one fact that what can Telugus with 90% fake CV deliver if they have 100% genuine CV).
