‘Love Failure’ Director’s Success Story

It is often seen that a talented director always come up with scripts that are based on real life. Sometimes, it is their own experiences that come onto the celluloid and tend to strike it big at the box office. One such man who seems to be applying this formula is Karunakaran.

Recently, he was sharing his thoughts in an interview when he was asked about the sensitive love tales that he comes up with. Karunakaran revealed that he failed in love 2-3 times despite various different approaches and this love failure prompted him to come up with such stories.

He says that he gains happiness by showing the success of love on the screen though there are those initial hiccups and pain. Perhaps that is one reason why his movies like ‘Toli Prema’ which were based on success of love after hardships turned out to be hits.  He said this while sharing his thoughts on the movie ‘Darling’.
