Bmw Vijayawada Inaugurated

Luxury car giant BMW India today opened its 39th dealership in Vijayawada. This is the second dealership for the German carmaker in Andhra Pradesh, where it announced its plan to aggressively expand its dealer network in the country by the end of 2015. The outlet, spread over 18,500 sqft, has ultra modern facilities integrated with after-sales service workshop. The showroom, 'KUN Exclusive', will display four cars indoors and has 'special display' area for high-end cars. The 'lifestyle section' will showcase premium BMWaccessories. The state-of-the-art workshop can service up to 100 cars a month.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Philipp von Sahr, President, BMW Group India, said the company is committed to creating unparalleled customer delight. "BMW is an admired premium auto manufacturer and continues to set new benchmarks in India. BMW India is committed to creating unparalleled customer delight. "With the launch of our second dealership in Andhra Pradesh, we have further strengthened our commitment to one of the most promising markets in India," he said.

 

This is the second BWM showroom inaugurated in less than a month by the German carmaker. A couple of weeks back BMW opened its 38^th showroom in India in Rajkot, Gujarat represented by Persoli Motors. Like any typical BMW dealership even the Rajkot outlet comes with a premium ambience consisting of a dedicated sales and after-sales desk, reception area and special consultation lounge with a view of the display area. Also the workshop comprises eight service bays (including mechanical, body and paint) that can service up to 150 cars per month.

 

In the last seven years the German automaker has set up 39 showrooms across the country and has nine cars in its Indian portfolio, a majority of which are assembled at its Chennai facility. The company will aggressively expand its dealer network and increase the number of outlets to 50 by end of 2015, Sahr added.
