lazybugger Posted April 3, 2015 Author Report Posted April 3, 2015 Tyrion is a very obvious choice kadha. but the problem with GOT is, almost all other characters are half baked. they seem to be picked out of some lame political thriller books. I like GOT for its huge canvas. plenty of possible directions the story can take right now. Not for its characters. yeah, I like faceless men. but their story probably won't find much screentime on the TV show.
lazybugger Posted April 3, 2015 Author Report Posted April 3, 2015 Tyrion is the only character that seems believable. and well acted. rest all, cardboard cutouts of several characters we have already seen. The mad young king was way over the top, for me. They should've picked a better actor. The actor clearly looked uncomfortable being that evil.

lazybugger Posted April 3, 2015 Author Report Posted April 3, 2015 no first one baagundi... second one had the best first 30 secs. gorgeous words spoken. True brit style. Americans can't write dialogues that awesome, with the simplest of words, and deliver it with precision.

He gets to do much more in the third book. basically, the entire GOT until now (atleast according to how the books go) is about two master spies fighting about who's got the best long play - Lord Varys and Petr Baelish.
