yeah. but they lag in so many indicators, like health, literacy, nutrition, infant mortality, etc. 

 

I've specific reason to say TN is awesome. I'm not saying it lightly. I'm saying it again and again here, because its sad how bigoted some of 'em here are, the moment they hear 'Tamil', and they think of poor dark people. when in fact TN state is much more prosperous than AP.

That is incorrect, chennai metropolitan has the highest GDP in the country, more or less equal to Mumbai, chennai city with out including the suburbs(most of the IT and industrial corridors come under Kanchipuram and counted as chennai metropolitan, hence not not same as chennai city) positioned after hyd, Bangalore and kolkutta at 7 or 8 position in the country.
