Here is the job description: ITB Direct Client Need - Microstrategy Architect Microstrategy Architect Phoenix, AZ 6 Months Experience: 10+ years Work Permit US Citizens / Green Card Holders / H1B (with minimum 3 years left on total H1B tenure) Qualifications · 10+ years of BI software development experience and preferably a BS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering or other technical discipline · Strong demonstrated experience in Microstrategy and other BI products, deep knowledge of data architecture, BI concepts, and creating Microstrategy schemas · Demonstrated experience in agile development, application design, software development, and testing · Extensive hands on experience with MPP and Relational Databases · Experience with Unix and Java development preferred · Passionate about creating great technology products and is always looking for creative & innovative solutions to meet or exceed our business partners’ needs · Strong leadership skills & ability to collaborate across development portfolios to drive results and to coach, lead and develop others Responsibilities Architect, design, prototype, & develop solutions across GNT Microstrategy/BI products to support business strategies, deliver business value, and shape GNS technology strategies Provide leadership, direction, & best practices to development teams Serve as a core member of agile teams that drives user story analysis and elaboration, designs and develops software applications, and tests and builds automation tools Build strong relationships with Business & Technology Partners and provide coaching & mentorship to technology teams Driving consistent development practices - tools and common components; developing deep understanding of tie-ins with other systems and platforms within the supported domains Identifying exciting opportunities for adopting new technology to solve existing needs and predicting future challenges Estimated timelines : Confirmation – 2 weeks; Onboarding (includes BG Check & Drug test) – 2 weeks BG Checc: Vendor has to submit BG check report along with Drug test report before onboarding.
