20 red sanders smugglers were shot dead by a task force team of Tirupati today morning in the Seshachalam forest area. The combing was going on in the forests nearby temple city area since Sunday and Based on a tip-off, the beat guard of forest alerted the Police who did the encounter. These hired daily workers are from neighbouring Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu Leaders and political parties protest against the encounter. Tamil Nadu Police is expected to come and visit the encounter site.

We Will Attack On Andhra Properties - TN Leaders

The brutal encounter that was executed in the forests of Chittoor district earlier today has started a new sort of rivalry between the states of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. All the twenty smugglers killed in the encounter belonged to Tamil Nadu and this is being condemned by most of the political parties in TN.

Panneerselvam, the CM of Tamil Nadu has condemned the encounter and demanded a probe into the incident. He said that the Police department of AP has made a big mistake by killing the innocent laborers instead of smugglers. Vaigo - the chief of the MDMK party in Tamil Nadu has gone further and issued statements about attacking Andhra Bank branches and other Andhra properties in their state. "We know that the AP Police have every right to arrest and prosecute offenders, but killing them like birds is unacceptable," said Vaiko.


With enough hints about attacks on Telugu people and their assets, Tamil Nadu Police were busy in making arrangements to counter these assaults. The security has been increased in areas that were filled with people from AP.
