Cbn’S Government Launches The ‘Indra Dhannassu’ Scheme

Immunisation is the most important way of protecting children from vaccine preventable diseases. With an aim to achieve ensure 100% immunisation of children in the State, CBN’s Government today launched the ‘Indra Dhannassu’ scheme in Kurnool.

To begin with, 25,457 children from Visakhapatnam, 33,028 from East Godavari, 40,817 from Krishna, 30,824 from Guntur and 27,898 from Kurnool will get vaccinated under the scheme. The immunisation schedule of childhood vaccinations has been designed to provide early protection against infections such as diphtheria, tetanus, polio, influenza, pertussis (whooping cough), measles and many others.

CBN has issued strict orders to collectors and district medical officers on creating awareness among people about the importance of vaccination to keep diseases at bay.

చిన్న పిల్లలకు ప్రాణాంతకంగా పరిణమించిన 7 ప్రమాదకరమైన వ్యాధుల నుండి రక్షణ ఇచ్చేందుకు శైశవ దశలోనే వారికి టీకాలు వేయించాలి. అయితే ఈ విషయంలో అవగాహన లేక చాలామంది తల్లిదండ్రులు టీకాల కార్యక్రమాన్ని నిర్లక్ష్యం చేస్తున్నారు. ఫలితంగా పిల్లలు ఈ వ్యాధులకు గురై ఒక్కోసారి ప్రాణాలను సైతం కోల్పోతున్నారు.

రాష్ట్రంలో టీకాలను వేయించని పిల్లలను గుర్తించే కార్యక్రమం చేపట్టగా, అందులో విశాఖపట్నం, తూర్పు గోదావరి, కృష్ణా, గుంటూరు మరియు కర్నూలు జిల్లాలో 1,58,024 మంది పిల్లలకు టీకాలు వేయించాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందని తేలింది. అందుకే 'ఇంద్ర ధనుస్సు' పథకం ద్వారా ఈ జిల్లాల్లోని పిల్లలకు టీకాలు వేయించే కార్యక్రమాన్ని ప్రభుత్వం ఈ రోజు ప్రపంచ ఆరోగ్య దినోత్సవం సందర్భంగా ప్రారంభిస్తోంది.

రాష్ట్ర ఆరోగ్యశాఖామాత్యులచే కర్నూలులో ప్రారంభమయ్యే ఈ 'ఇంద్ర ధనుస్సు' పథకాన్ని మిగిలిన జిల్లాల్లో ఆయా జిల్లాల మంత్రులు ప్రారంభిస్తారు 
100 శాతం రోగ నిరోధక శక్తిని అందివ్వడమే లక్ష్యంగా చేపట్టిన ఈ కార్యక్రమం పై ప్రజలకు పూర్తి అవగాహన కలిగించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.
