rule of thumb entante, kotha houses ki kuda chala issues untayi, foundation oka 5-6 years ki set avthundhi, appudu issues vastayi bayatiki emayina unte like cracks etc., 

 

check if you can build a house or not in that lot (permits), also how far are the utility lines(gas/water/sewer etc), if they are far away, you have to pay extra to extend lines. 

 

check for any flood issues, city hall will have flood maps, pakkane water source em ledhu ani lite teeskoku

Bro, best realtor ni pattuko, vaadu motham research chesthadu neeku, but you need to do your research also, as he works for commission, he wants a sale.

 

DFW areas lo ayithe money back iche realtors unnaru. But, land investment endhuku mama

 

Na friend realtor tho ne deal chesadu, but he took almost 1 year to research about real estate, his area and also, all the loop holes. he interviewd alteast 5 realtors and worked with 2 realtors. 

 

if you really want to invest for passive income, buy a condo. rents vastayi, re-sale kuda easy untundhi. 

 

I dont prefer real estate investments in US. INDIA lo 1 lakh petti land konte 10 yrs tarvatha atleast 2 lakhs avthundhi(worst case), ikkada reverse kuda avvachu, price may come down.

yup, 2012 all time low undhi. prices started increasing now and will increase for some more years. oka 3-5 yrs old single family house teesko mama. you dont have to deal with initial repairs. just a suggestion. All the Best
