evi chinna chtika incidents, eyi chala common hyd lo during communal friction esp after Friday prayers in old city. the height of tension was in 1992-93 during babri masjid, I grew up in vn colony adjacant to mallepally and asif nagar, also had relatives in red hills which are predominantly muslim dominated, both communities muslim and hindus were equally afraid, believe me we had chilli and salt mixed in packets our bedside incase of an untoward situation but furtunate nothing bad had happened in our area or neighbourhood.
