kiladi bullodu Posted April 13, 2015 Report Posted April 13, 2015 In February, social activist and film producer Sunitha Krishnan uploaded 2 videos of brutal gangrapes on the YouTube page of her NGO, Prajwala India. Within 2 days, another 2 videos were shared by anonymous people and the #SaveTheCampaign on social media by Prajwala received a shocking 90 videos of gangrapes and other sexual abuses on women from all over India.Soon after she posted the videos in February, Sunitha was attacked in Old City and her car was damaged severely. A police case has been filed and the cops have nabbed the rapists but the gruesome rape videos kept coming in. noticing the growing menace, the Supreme Court had asked the CBI to investigate the crimes and mulled over a mechanism to curb the rape crimes.Some of the videos shared have been in circulation for the last 5 years and unfortunately, no cases have been filed or arrests made. Some of the videos boast rapists shamelessly boasting their perverse acts and often private parts. After the initial arrests, even the CBI did not progress much and the horrific crimes continue.
