The controversial 'Mangalsutra (Thaali) removal function', organised by the Dravidar Kazhagam, was held early today morning. However, Madras High Court ordered a stay on organising of this event. Dravidar Kazhagam party president Veeramani has held this event to oppose wearing of Thaali. According to him Thaali is not necessary to showcase the wed-lock between couple.
