IMO his image is tarnished by his ancestors, some good things he had done for then times 5 year plan, land reforms, IIT's, non aligned member thus not going the way of pak begging US for arms and money and that saw 1980's and aftermath Pak becomeing a scapegoat of their 1950s foreign policy.
