I heard few folks talking here about Informatica was down, but me and my friends do a lot of dubbing at Database end. We took call for Informatica + Teradata + Hadoop (including few Informatica Architect - WFH for Wells Fargo) for 15 folks and 11 got places from March 16th to Apr 5th.

So please dont believe anyone and I know market is little low but not that bad at all.

That's a super good combo..If you are good at those techs, you can get a FT job very easily..but with just one tech, its very difficult man...

 

People here talk abt just informatica..Getting a job only in Informatica itself is very tough these days...You placed just because u might have got good contacts with the white vendors..Not every consultancy has those..So its getting difficult to get hold of these positions especially from Informatica and Testing perspective...

 

I know couple of ppl who have been lying there for almost 6 months now...
