We found this guy through a matrimonial site for my cousin sister. He is highly qualified with masters in US and working for a very high profile company. Everything looked so good for a couple of weeks until he confessed to my sister that he had done it with a prostitute. He has actually asked her not to reveal it to anyone and if she can't accept the fact then he will give some excuses to both the parents and not proceed with it. But my cousin being close to me she told me about this and asked for my opinion. She too liked him from what they have spoken in the couple of weeks and felt that he seemed to be a nice guy. He has told her that he really liked her and don't want to hide things from her and start a marriage life with a lie. What should we do? Any inputs would help.

As soon I read the title of this thread, this question popped in my mind: "Then why are you considering this alliance?".
IMO, a marriage survives and in some cases thrives well based on the relationship between the wife and the husband. Other factors like highly/lowly qualified, working for a high profile company etc. usually takes a backseat when behavior comes into picture. 
First, your cousin should ask him to get tested and share the results with her. If your cousin feels that she can move past this and be happy with the guy after getting married, then may be it makes it OK. If even the smallest of his actions or words have the ability to trigger this thought in her, later in the marriage she will get affected mentally.

At least he was honest. People marry quite late (closer to their 30s) so it is quite unreasonable to expect that the parties would live in celibacy for so long. There are ethical/moral issues with prostitution (trafficking, abuse etc) but on the other hand there are no emotional strings attached. Tests for STDs (usually prostitutes demand safe sex which is not the case with other casual sexual contacts) would be recommended. If she is comfortable why not proceed?

As far as I know, a significant percent of the bachelors who come to US are going to prostitutes and strip clubs. As availability of such things and freedom is high compared to India, most guys go. Not necessarily everyone confesses. Its upto the girl to accept.
Just make sure to get the guy tested for STDs. Discuss it openly with him.
