wololo Posted April 18, 2015 Report Posted April 18, 2015 Jobs are for people who haven't made $30m yet :) do you know how many 28yr olds retire in the financial sector? The reason he mentions may be little silly, but its immaterial. He'll be back after 5-10 yrs with another startup or he may be working on it right now from his home. He chose to not talk about it. Also, playing second fiddle to wife isn't that bad :) The traditional power structure in a marriage is BS. It means that you never marry a girl who's better than you, because you are insecure of her awesomeness? Playing second fiddle seems to be very much frowned upon. I'd love to call this chauvinistic, but pretty sure would be labeled a feminist The very fact that "You are an Indian, so you work in IT till you retire" or "Man Up" seems to be gleaming outright
lazybugger Posted April 18, 2015 Report Posted April 18, 2015 okay 28yr olds retiring is a stretch, though it happened in 2005-2007. But many mid 30s guys can retire. and spend more time nagging their wives, or hiring hookers (depending on their marital status)

She'll always date up, and not down. And when she dates down, the guy acts like a doormat :) I agree with him, generally. But there are some glorious exceptions.
maximummax Posted April 18, 2015 Author Report Posted April 18, 2015 whats so great about going to a 9-5 job? especially when one's got millions in the bank. Its in fact a waste of time. well the news doesn't say he was the co founder they projected the news as he sacrified his job for his daughter
lazybugger Posted April 18, 2015 Report Posted April 18, 2015 well the news doesn't say he was the co founder they projected the news as he sacrified his job for his daughter yeah. he sure did make it sound like it was a huge sacrifice on his part. daughter or no daughter, there's no point in working, after you've made it. It's not that easy to be motivated.

For sure I don't possess the feyness to fathom the hidden inner meaning here. That was enlightening Perception on dating up and being hen-pecked could all be true, all the while with exceptions, but it's not right to call someone a doorknob

santhusen8 Posted April 18, 2015 Report Posted April 18, 2015 I have the same feeling , i miss my daughter most of the time just for some extra money Work long hours just to make as much money as possible , when i come home i am tired as hell , just lie done on couch , still my daughter tries to play with me I just sit there and try to play with her for 30 minutes or so what ever days off i get , i try to make up the sleep i lost during the whole week But like most of us can we afford to stay at home, i don't think so , if you have to provide decent life to yourself , parents and dependents you will have to work your ass off
