Where Would You Pick Your City?

Imagine, for some reason (mostly climate change), migration to the city is hastened. People from everywhere in a state/region will be accommodated into a city. 

 

Where would you pick your city for AP? 

 

you have to imagine that the rest of AP will be left to rot.

The city should have a great water source nearby, be accessible for trade with other such city-states.

 

And other comfort factors like pleasant weather, etc.

 

Obviously it's most likely to be a coastal city.
