Its very sad to see reasonably intelligent right wing commentators like Ashok Malik, Swapan Dasgupta, make horrible observations just out of fear to not end up on the wrong side of the Modi wave. It's exactly the same phenomena that made otherwise decent people in Rwanda, Serbia and Kashmir turn against their friends and neighbors.

batman Posted April 21, 2015 Report Posted April 21, 2015 of course person in power should be questioned and criticized. but what is media doing? ex recent church attacks, nun rape the media started jumping as if ass caught on fire that what is happening in country after modi and bjp came. now proof came out that all those attacks were not communal and coz of other reasons. nun rape by bangladeshi media g musukuni silent ga undi did not highlight this. check arun jaitley brachia duty interview where he question that and barkha mouth was shut coz they know what they did.

But the honorable thing to do would be to point out their mistake and move on. coining stupid terms like presstitute is only going to portray govt as being vindictive.

batman Posted April 21, 2015 Report Posted April 21, 2015 i followed most things leading up to 2014 and those media ceos came to tv debates and repeatedly told everything why not to elect modi. modi has hit their ego very hard with the election result. i don't expect anything better from that section of media. yes using presstitute kind of words should be avoided
