naa. I don't romanticize my childhood. I hate every second of my past.

 

I just have a soft spot for maniratnam. even though watching his movies now requires a huge effort on my part.

 

obviously I am fond of chennai. but for reasons entirely different from what you might think.

I wish I was like maniratnam. I wish I could absorb people and stuff around me, and not announce my opinion on it to other people. He can do it effortlessly.

 

Many can do it. but its surprising someone in the film industry does it.

 

Though his films themselves are cringe worthy, in terms of politics or philosophy, his interviews are the blandest I've heard. He doesn't ever state his opinion, on anything.
