Apply some logic and you can easily understand that....Season opener always involes super bowl winningteam and it should be a home game for them. Out of all the teams that Pats play this year at home, the two with best records are Steelers and Eagels. Eagles are dicey pick for NFL cuz the fan base ain't that popular. Steelers vs Pats would be ratings bonanza cuz of the total rings shared between the two

Do you know before what were their homes games before the release of their schedule ? no right based on their home games yes Stellers make sense why cant they play Broncos or giants in the opener or even colts that would have been a better match up for the opener
