As i said, they are bound to have a sub-par season and their divison doesn't do them any good. FYI, unless they had been part of NFC South, they woudn't made it to the playoffs last year from any other divsion

I am not complaining about their last season, I am just talking about their future or current season

Do you know before what were their homes games before the release of their schedule ? no right based on their home games yes Stellers make sense why cant they play Broncos or giants in the opener or even colts that would have been a better match up for the opener

 

I don't think you follow many of the pats forums that I frequent. Even Pat Rosenthal, Peter King predicted the same. Apart from the 6 inter divisional games, the rest of the games are pre-decided even before the prior season ends. NFL relases data asto which divison plays what other divison well in advance. The only missing item is the week-by-week schedule. Everyone pretty much knows the list of oppoents for next year by Jan, just the schedule is released around April

And I don't have to prove anything to you or anyone here. It is just a matter plain obviousness that NFL proposes divisional games for next year before the current season ends, ICYDKT

Season opener for next year is based on the SB winner's schedule for this year

 

If Seattle had won, they they would've picked the same way based on the home games they play (non-divisional preferred) and so they would've played Bears/Lions/Steelers/Browns for the season opener. Logically of these 4, Lions and Steelers have a superior record and attracts greater viewership and so it would've been either of them playing seattle
