True.. he could have almost won the war and abolished slavery of gladiators..downfall of Roman empire was pretty real which was offcourse averted by his death.. They however dinn find his body.. but his ideals remain as one the best motivations in revolutionary history

Actually the original plan was to escape......he could've done it if he wanted to...but somehow he decided to wipe out roman empire.....which is bit unrealistic thinking....
