What Is Your Political Stand On Land Acquisition Bill

I'm so confused between government and Opposition parties..

 

PM says opposition parties are derailing it.. but Opposition has legitimate right to question..

 

what is your political Stand?

OK with modifications but not as is, like

1) remove clause to reflect any other purpose other than from infra like roads, dams, bridges etc.
2) change to 5o-60% vote approval from nothing.
3) 10 years yeild time or give back the land to the owners as opposed to the ambiguous clause whenever

PM said in parliament that he is ready to change it.. so are the above mentioned changes?? 

i know current govt has added some good changes apart from the Bill UPA proposed.. and now congress seems to be opposing it saying govt is anti farmer, whereas in the first place Congress is a big anti farmer government. When congress was in power the farmer suicides in Maharastra was at its peak..

The whole problem of contention was that BJB was not ready to compromise, you can't corner congress because the same BJP opposed the same bill while congress put forward the bill..

ippudu government can take lands from its owners for Public or Private sector in short development projects kosam.. 

 

So owners of the land should give it to government and they will be compensated.. 1894 lo british vallu chesindi manam continur ayyam..

 

UPA government dani changes ki proposal pettindi.. Aithey dantlo chala loop holes undey like no replacement of Land for owners, compensation, Bluff from big companies (private sec) etc ani.. 

 

BJP government has made some changes in the bill  like compensating land to owners somewhere else .. clauses like affected family or household etc ani.. i donno clearly the compensation but somewhere they say 4 times the current market price of land istaru ani.. that means farmers will consdierably loose land.. they should get rid of ownership of land.. there are certain loopholes in this BJP decorated bill too..

 

So tribal relocation, Farmer compensation etc alantive hurdles unnai.. Opposition saying GOVT giving land to Corporates ani  and is anti farmer..

 

I think they want to implement land leasing concept.. technically not possible in intrest of public or private sector though..cuz land rates will sky rocket up on project developments..beneficiary will be land owner..

 

UPA unnapudu eedo Tutu mantram bill they developed and wanted to get it through.. Bjp just added few changes and decorated it ani  vaadana.. 

 

PM SAID HE WILL IMPLEMENT PRO FARMER CHANGES..BUT OPPOSITION ARE RALLYING HUGELY AGAINST IT TO GET POLITICAL MILEAGE.. 

 

The 2013 Act focuses on providing not only compensation to the land owners, but also extend rehabilitation and resettlement benefits to livelihood looser from the land, which shall be in addition to the minimum compensation. The minimum compensation to be paid to the land owners is based on a multiple of market value and other factors laid down in the Act. The Act forbids or regulates land acquisition when such acquisition would include multi-crop irrigated area. The Act changed the norms for acquisition of land for use by private companies or in case of public-private partnerships, including compulsory approval of 80% of the landowners. The Act also introduced changes in the land acquisition process, including a compulsory social-impact study, which need to be conducted before an acquisition in made.^[18]

The new law, also has some serious shortcomings as regards its provisions for socioeconomic impact assessment and it has also bypassed the constitutional local self governments by not recognizing them as "appropriate governments" in matters of land acquisition.^[19]

yeah i agree with you.. BJP compromised on few things but it had added changes which are better in scope than UPA.. My point is same too Now Congress Cannot Corner BJP too, as they wanted their shitty bill with no compensations etc to pass

Donno who is leading or mis leading in this Land Acquisition Bill..
