donganaaK Posted April 23, 2015 Report Posted April 23, 2015 and that blue cloud is probably bigger than earth ..
donganaaK Posted April 23, 2015 Report Posted April 23, 2015 how do u know that this pic is real ? if you have a powerful telescope u can see it for yourself ..... I'm guessing these images were taken by the hubble telescope
JabardasthJakkanna Posted April 23, 2015 Report Posted April 23, 2015 wonderful... such a huge object it is.... good one...
JabardasthJakkanna Posted April 23, 2015 Report Posted April 23, 2015 and that blue cloud is probably bigger than earth .. good observation...but may be its not that big ..
Spartan Posted April 23, 2015 Report Posted April 23, 2015 if you have a powerful telescope u can see it for yourself ..... I'm guessing these images were taken by the hubble telescope Hubble or any powerful telescope cannot see the astro objects in color.. they add some filters..to see/differentiate the radiations and colors... after that...an artistic/painted view will be published for people.... based on those inputs.. this is how maximum u shud be seeing from telescope.. How much can you see? This beautiful and highly accurate disk drawing was made on November 25, 1999, by Ohio amateur Phil Plante using a 6-inch f/5 Newtonian reflector at 228x. In moments of steady seeing a scope of this size is capable of showing even greater detail. South is up.
donganaaK Posted April 23, 2015 Report Posted April 23, 2015 good observation...but may be its not that big .. there is another spot on jupiter called as "the great red spot " , its basically a storm that has been running from the past 400 years , its said that the size of that storm is bigger than earth ... just compare the size of it to the above pic ...

Yeah,,,I have heard of it...but still somehow I feel that volcanic eruption may not be the size of earth...but again...I ll not be surprised even if it is so...given the relative size of the volcano with the mighty jupiter
