Check to see if ur HDD is a 2.5 Sata or 3.5 Sata ? Buy a SATA Enclosure... plug it to another laptop and 9/10 times the laptop should see ur HDD as an external HDD and u can copy data over.. once copied format the harddrive and reload OS.. it worked for me...many times in past
