Do you mind being called 'Gults' ?

 

I am not sure if you know, but this word was used extensively in Chennai in the 90s. Not so much now. but the usage has caught up in Mumbai and Delhi.

 

are you comfortable with the tag, that comes with slightly negative connotations, and probably wasn't originally coined to describe all telugus, but only those who migrated out of AP.

personally, I never let any of my friends get away with that term. I'd not let them copy my test answers if they called me gult.

 

But it looks like a lot of telugus outside of AP are beginning to get comfortable with the term.
