'Shilpa conspiring to pull down Rosaiah'

Even as the controversy over Guntur Congress MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao’s wild allegations against industries minister Kanna Lakshminarayana is still raging in the state, yet another Congress MP – Kotla Suryaprakash Reddy of Kurnool, launched a tirade against yet another minister in the Rosaiah cabinet on Friday.

Kotla alleged that housing minister Shilpa Mohan Reddy was conspiring with the Telugu Desam Party MLAs to pull down the Rosaiah government. He alleged that the minister was making negative comments against the chief minister during the Praja Patham programme and was ignoring the Kotla family, which had done yeoman service to the state and district.

The Congress MP further alleged that Shilpa Mohan Reddy was also indirectly passing on information to Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy against the Rosaiah government leading to negative reports in Sakshi daily. “I will bring it to the notice of Madam Sonia Gandhi and seek dismissal of the minister from the cabinet,” he asserted. According to sources, there is every possibility that another MP might open up his mouth against Jagan and his alleged conspiracy to topple Rosaiah government in a day or two. “This is all part of the strategy of the old man to counter the onslaught by Jagan,” sources said.
