But to make sure you guys are following the procedure...mainly for those whose OPT ends before the H1start date vallakosam e post.. in case me OPT is ending in August 2015, and ur H1 is picked... CAP-GAP anedi okati untadi..whcih allows u to work from August -October...kaani adi by default activate avvadu.... you guys need to apply for the OPT EXTENSION...then only CAP_GAP will come into effect.... ledante you will be considered out of status after August.. which kicksin the 60day grace period...a 60days you cannot work basically in the above example you cannot work form Aug-OCT )H1start date)... to avoid these hassels make sure you apply for your OPT extension even if your H1 is picked..... in case OPT extension kuda aipotundi before the start date of your H1 ante...go to your school..and get the CAP_GAP I-20. they will give new I20 whcih will allow you to work unitl ur H1 start date .
