Google Inks Mou With Telangana For Its Largest Campus Outside Usa

Google chooses Hyderabad for its largest campus outside of USA and its first ever own campus in Asia.

Mountain View, California, 11th May, 2015

The Global Head for Google Facilities and Workplaces, David Radcliffe and the Telangana Minister for Information Technology, Mr. K. T. Rama Rao had a meeting at the Google Headquarters in Mountain View. An MoU was signed between the Government of Telangana and Google Inc. 

As per the MoU, Google is allocated 7.2 acres in Gachibowli, the main IT corridor of Hyderabad and Google will build its own facility. This facility for Google in Hyderabad, the capital city of the state of Telangana when fully built will be the second largest facility globally with a built up space of about 2 Million sft and the largest campus for Google globally outside of the United States. The envisioned facility in Hyderabad will be Google’s first-ever own campus in Asia. 

The facility is expected to house about 13,000 employees with a built up space of about 2 Million sft. The approximate investment by Google via capital expenditure for the facility would be in the vicinity of Rs. 1,000 Crores. Google expects the facility to be complete and fully operational in about 4 years and is supposed to start before the summer of 2019. 

 

 

 

Telangana to be the first state to get StreetView:

The delegation led by the Minister met with the Google Street View team of Mr. Manik Gupta, Director of Product Management and Mr. Narayana Tummala, Ground Truth Engineering Lead for Google.

Lokesh ki ideas baagane unnayi.. he is unable to get them to reality.. main drawback na prakaram.. he is unable to connect with the common man.. confidence ledu matladinappudu therefore he comes out as weak and funny..although when you hear what he has to say we will realise the real potential in his ideas
