If India has any hope of regularising water supply for all urban settlements, these private suppliers must be banned.

 

It is a vicious cycle right now. water quality is bad, so you buy top quality water. but that top quality water also comes from the same water table that everyone draws from, worsening municipal water quality for the rest.
