Travelled to hyd via mumbai,done with immigration in mumbai then transferred luggage to domestic airline ,security check was done at mumbai, no security check at hyd.carried 1kg gold ornaments, no questions nothingreached safely

travelled on Air india to hyd via mumbai.air india domestic is there, i came from hyd to mumbai through domestic air india, immigration n security check done at mumbai

yes recently on may 7th travelled to hyd via mumbai..at mumbai first done immigration then picked luggage then security check done 

then transfers to domestic then transferred luggage and travelled on air india flight to hyd and at hyd picked whole luggage and no security check ,safe exit

May b Perhaps becauz of dis.. if u Travel Directly to HYD from Foreign Airport... while Clearing Customs.. guess we may have some Issues if we carry 1 Kg Ornaments.. Not Sure though..

at mumbai it was smooth..just carry the gold in a leather purse and put it middle of clothes but at hyd i ve seen they were opening hand luggage n checking keenly
