The land bill is still an ordinance and not passed yet, high court gave a interim verdict in favor of farmers. Land pooling doesn't fall into either land bill or ordinance. In this case government is acting as a developer and can't have some farmers keep their land because it poses a greater threat to the plan since some other farmers will come out with a same clause as they are bound to end up with 4 times more land in middle of developed plot/parcel of land which will obviously fetch more money if they are middle or close to the city no matter whether their parcel is developed or not. Even if the land is declared as green filed we know how the laws are changed overtime by governments in power and TDP will not remain in power forever.

Since government is short on money they took up the his grand scheme of land pooling but they don't have to stoop to the point of a street rowdy level threatening farmers. I wish they built whatever they could in 8k acres(government buildings) owned by the government and let farmers sell the land to developers directly than they getting into all this mess and spoiling their good will.
