Citizens wanted a seperate country which was also a wish of the king, but at the last minute signed treay to india but it was too late

At the time of partition, each state had a choice to reamin autonomous, so their wish to be independent is completely justified If tamils fight for separate country and still part of india.. Then they didnt foght hard enough
