ఢిల్లీ: వరంగల్ నిట్(నేషనల్ ఇనిస్టిట్యూట్ ఆఫ్ టెక్నాలజీ)కి సంబంధించిన ప్రవేశాల ప్రకారం 50శాతం సీట్లు తెలంగాణ విద్యార్థులకే దక్కుతాయని తెలంగాణ విద్యాశాఖ మంత్రి కడియం శ్రీహరి అన్నారు. మంగళవారం ఆయన న్యూఢిల్లీలో కేంద్ర మానవ వనరుల శాఖ కార్యదర్శి సత్యనారాయణ మహంతితో సమావేశమయ్యారు. అనంతరం ఆయన మీడియాతో మాట్లాడుతూ.. కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం ఆధ్వర్యంలో ఉన్న విద్యాసంస్థ నిట్ అని, అందులో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ సీట్లు కోరడం సరికాదన్నారు. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ వాదన ఆర్టికల్ 371డి ప్రకారం వర్తించదని కడియం తెలిపారు. 
విభజన చట్టం కూడా ఇదే చెబుతోందని ఆయన అన్నారు. విద్యార్థులు నష్టపోకుండా ఏపి ప్రభుత్వం ప్రత్యామ్నాయాలు చూసుకోవాలని మంత్రి కడియం శ్రీహరి సూచించారు. నిట్‌కు సంబంధించి ప్రవేశాల ప్రకారం 50శాతం సీట్లు స్థానిక విద్యార్థులకే దక్కాలన్నారు. మిగతా 50 శాతం ఇతర రాష్ట్రాలకు కేటాయించాలన్నారు. అంతకుముందు ఆయన హైదరాబాద్‌లో మాట్లాడుతూ.. వరంగల్ ఎన్ఐటిలో ప్రవేశాలు మార్గదర్శకాల ప్రకారమే ఉంటాయని తెలిపారు. ఏపి ప్రభుత్వం తమ విద్యార్థులకు నిట్‌లో సీట్లు ఇవ్వమని ఏపి కేంద్రాన్ని కోరుతోందని, దానికి తాము అంగీకరించబోమని స్పష్టం చేశారు
