I 797A vastey its approval and u are approved to stay also..

but other than tht..lik I797C or B vastey...

 

your H1 is approved but your change of status is not approved.

 

no one can stay on two statuses at one time. u are allowed to stay on one status only.

now you are on H-status since it got approved.

 

but your conversion from F to H is not approved.

hence ur F (cpt) is void. and your H is active. but for you to work...you need to go to stamping..and re enter on your H

 

 

 

H-1 application involves two parts

1. application I-129

2. application for change of status

 

Here in your situation

1--- is approved-- the H status

2--- is not approved--the change of status. 

 

so you have to go out and come.
