An I-797A is an original approval notice with the I-94 attached.

An I-1797B is an original approval notice with no I-94 attached.

If you have received an I-797B, this means that the petition itself is approved, but the COS/Extension of Stay is not approved.

You have to get your visa stamped, and then re-enter the US.

Form I-797B: Is issued to those who had never been to the U.S. or to those whose change of status cannot be approved.

This means that you are qualified for the job but your change of status cannot be approved.

Cool... Thank you all for the inputs...

I have also contacted attorneys and here is their Suggestion.

Firstly, I will be in legal F1 status until October 1st and can work on CPTTT

Secondly, If I don't want to exit country after October 1st, I can still register for additional semester and stay until the duration of that semester , legally. Only when I exit the country, Once I go for stamping My F1 status gets terminated.

Third: I can also file I-129 requesting for the change of status, which would cost around $350 and get the I94

Hope this would help someone.. Thank you All.. As always you guys are best :) !!
