lazybugger Posted May 22, 2015 Report Posted May 22, 2015 Telangana estimated total of 66k crores for 2014-15(tax revenues : 46k. Non-tax revenues : 20k). Dont know how Telangana can generate 20k crore non-tax revenues. Its an overestimate figure. At maximum, they could get 8-10k crore non-tax revenues. Andhra Pradesh estimated 44k crore tax revenues (dont know about estimation of Non-tax revenues). and AP will get 6500 crore special grant from central govt as it is in deflict. Central share 42% of taxes to states according to 14th finance commission. AP will get 4.5% according to FC which is 1,60,000 crore in next 5 years (avg of 32000 crore per year) whereas Telangana will get 2.5% which is 98,000 crore in next 5 years. (average of 20000 crore per year). So this is the total figure : Telangana : Tax revenues : 46k crore Non-tax revenues : 20k crore 14th finance commisssion : 20k crore Andhra Pradesh : Tax revenues : 44k crore Non-tax revenues : 8k crore (my estimation) Special grant from centre : 6.5k crore 14th finance commission : 32k crore may be from new coal block licenses. AP will also have higher non-tax revenues.
