lol. China was always more corrupt than India. Anyone who has done business there would know that.

But its retail corruption. Everything has a price, and you know who talk to, to get your work done, if you find the right local to help you.

In India no one knows what's happening. Even lawyers are clueless in corporate issues.

Also corruption in China is localised. you don't have to run to beijing everytime to lobby for your company

no idea what ysr model was. But stats show AP performed better under YSR.

bibek debroy came up with a study sometime in 2011 I think, where he devotes an entire chapter to AP's phenomenal improvement over past 5 years. I didn't read it though.

I think from 2004 or 2005 onwards, because he was comparing notes from a similar study he did around that time. He notes how AP was the only state which improved spectacularly inspite of perception of YSR govt's corruption. But he was writing only about the business climate of AP.

Ofcourse it's obvious AP did well on social indicators also since then.

There you go, he may be compairing with the ludicrous performance of state until 2004...under Nakka's rule...but majority of the media reports say different story...do you think that was just their typical media management...

He wasn't writing about 'performance' as much as how easy it is set up a business in the state and how responsive, relatively, the local govt is, to business' needs.

No idea about media management. In fact I know little to nothing about India or its states. The only time I tried to start a factory in India, I was disillusioned at the pace things move and quit. I'm the world's greatest quitter.

Ask me about turkey, indonesia, mauritius, singapore, UK, Canada, Shenzhen and hongkong.

That is why I stick to the abstract while in a debate. I cannot debate specifics at all. Unless there's a stat source I can draw from. zero experience.
