Its totally upto you... Kani ..if you got married recently and if your wife is in US recently its best to get it done now  as she might not have more history / accounts .. but if you wait till getitng a Citizen ship... you can do even then but its more hectic bcz you have to get it changed on all acounts starting from SSN .... bank accounts .. what not... thats a pain...So better do it when she comes in recently ... it will be lot easier....
