see we can't generalize that all parents are good,there are all sorts of people, have seen parents for sake of money killed daughter in alaws,few families got no values and morals  nor ethics such families can't tolerate girl from outside especially this happens when son marries girl against parent wishes.due to high possessiveness and greediness they separate son and daughter in law.on other side there are many families who treat their daughter in law as more than daughter.Recently a case came to rangareddy court , where that guy is getting ready for 3rd mlarriage and his parents played major role in separation.orders to arrest them was given to all airports.guy father is famous person who translates mahabaratam, ramayana into english  but they created a scene like daughter in law is mentally handicapped ,then divorce, then separation from children (one child is 2 yrs old and another 4 months old)n finally sent her back to india. As she was totally dependent on husband and un aware of laws and lack of money made her to get into such trap.they want grand children but not daughter in law. still the case was going in the court. if all parents are good then world won't be like this.dont generalize .
