actually no one around me can understand where I come from, in such conversations. because none of them were born in India, nor are they left wing nuts.

oka small example bhayya...maa univ lo oka christian ammay undedhi...ammay super talented and had too many friends both boys and girls....she was a nice girl though....no one knew her caste for almost 1 year and one day a girl found out that this girl belongs to SC caste and revealed to everyone in the Univ...i personally heard people talking badly about her and her caste and avoided her....in a span of few days, she had to move out of her apt and had to live with white girls....intha dhooram ochi kuda antaranithanam ni odhalaru manavallu...

 

No wonder SCs don't like to advertise their caste in a proud way like the other castes do.

 

I'm pretty sure some of those guys and girls used the excuse of 'reservation quota candidate' to inflict this situation on the said SC girl.

I'm telugu man. I obviously have relatives living in all important cities in the US.

 

The closest guy is in buffalo. But I avoid them as much as I can.
